You 've got to create a server and a client in one project. 2 or 1 form(s)
its up to you...(
On the server's side it have to Listen on some port e.g 1977 and allow
incoming connections. Using the ms winsock control:
Experiment with the folllowing...

Lets say that we have a button called cmdListen
Private Sub cmdListen_click

TCPserver.LocalPort = 1977
TCPserver.Listen

End sub

Private Sub TCPserver_ConnectionRequest(ByVal requestID As Long)

If winsock.State <> sckClosed Then 'avoiding errors
TCPserver.Close
End If

TCPserver.Accept (requestID)

End Sub

Now you 've got a server listening on port 1977. The client's cmdConnect
button should look something like below..:

winsock.connect(remoteHost, 1977)

...etc...
.
.

I hope you get the idea.... I could send you some ready code with all that
but I beleive that the joy of making it by yourself is great, isn't it?? If
you need some code although, just ask it...

Hope I 've helped
