is it possible to join, for example, a few jpgs into one and then access to one of them (like a simple binary random access file)?

If you can come up with a file format, then yes. I would go about it by designing a lookup table at the beginning of the file which points to the position of the data of an individual file so that it can be extracted or otherwise accessed later.
