Hello I can realy use some help, I'm working on a school assignment: What I'm building: I have 3 webcam wich are connected to a manual selector device. So can switch between the input by hand. I want to build a program and a new device so I can switch electronic. The decive should be connected to the comm or LPT poort. Problem: I want to write data to a extern device but I don't know how (comm or Lpt). In the futere I would like to attach the device at an other computer. So I have to be able to control the used port (comm or lpt) through a network. Questions: What is the best way to send data to a extern device? Comm or LPT? Can someone sent me an exampel about sending data to the comm or LPT port. Remember the device is not a modem. Thanks Rick
