I am trying to learn how to program with VB5 and need help.

I have created a database with two fields, name(index) and telephone using the database tools.
Now I need to access the database, "names" using VB5 only, not using the built in dbase tools.
Could some one help with a small short program that opens the database, "names",
has the procedures to read, update, add and delete. Nothing fancy, no error trappings or
anything else. Just the simplest you can get. I should be able to get it from there.
(I have programmed long ago in Turbo Pascal v3)
