Several factors influence Delphi's success. One of these is MS' superior
marketing department which have more funds to advertise their underpowered
development tool. VB'ers might have some idea of why Delphi haven't
yet reached VB's number of users (granted, it sold a lot more than
anyone expected a year ago, but it still hasn't outsold VB).

But you object to anything Delphi related?

You once complained (in email) to me when I suggested Delphi to someone
who considered VC++ instead of VB. I thought that my posting was a valid
advice, but you (at the time) took it as a commercial. Well, if we
Delphians are so eager to do Borland's job (the marketing bit), then it
truly must be a fabolous product, don't you agree? :-)
