I'm not a clueless newbie, and I'm not trying to start a flamewar. I know a reasonable amount about Pascal, C++ and Basic, but there are new versions coming out all the time and I can't keep 100% up to date. So my problem is that (I expect) in a few weeks I will have to make a recommendation on the best language system/environment in which to write some programs to run under Windows. I need some information on the relative merits of the main contenders so I can choose. I would prefer if you mailed your responses to me (martin@mpce.mq.edu.au). --------------------------------------------------- Martin Ellison mailto:martin@mpce.mq.edu.au http://www-comp.mpce.mq.edu.au/~martin/
