good shit on being a pain in the ass, Delphi might be "better" depending 
upon your definition.  VB is a "better" marketed product.  Personally I 
hope that VB gets so stuffed with features that you need a cray to run 
it.  

Like it or not, VB is way bigger than Delphi and when someone who is new 
to programming want's to start I send then to VB - not delphi.  Most 
non-programming types have never heard of Delphi (or Borland) but I can 
go down the hall and talk to the director and he has heard of VB.
