The project I'm on at work uses VB to populate excel reports and uses mainframe DB2 tables.  VB4 
offers many performance improvements and bug fixes over vb3.

Instead of every VB4 app having to carry this baggage around, I think MS should have made 
available an "operating system update" that is a prerequisite to installing vb4/vba apps.  It is 
dumb to have every setup program, and every vb4 app sitting on a server somewhere containing the 
same DLLs.

I bought Delphi too.  Even though I know Pascal, I thought it'd take too much time getting up to 
speed.
