I'm boycotting VB4 and am MAH at u$ for ruining what used to be a good 
product. However, the changes (I would call them enhancements) you 
describe are good ones if:

they are documented so other language developers can use them and, they 
reflect a commitment to the break through VB represented back in 1992.

However, IMHO, the C (++ if you prefer) at usoft are ruining VB because 
they can't stand the heat. If gates had the vision he thinks he has he 
would not let it happen.
