Hi, does anybody know following problem: I can not save my source (.frm .bas) in VB40 on Network drives (Novell 3.12). The error messig is the following: Can not find path. But the path exists. Is there anywhere a patch which I could download? Thanks for each answer. -- E-mail: nhhlem@ascom.ch

The problem according to Microsoft is that when the totally rewrote VB 3.0 to VB 4.0 they attempted to optimize file access and that causes errors writing to Novell mapped drives. Microsoft merely, and smugly I might add, recommended a) using Visual Sourcesafe which does work on the network, b) Use VLM's in place of the older NETX or the best answer yet.. c) convert to NT 8) Bill Hepworth NFCU
