I have a user on NT4. He has rich text format (rtf) files set up to open under WordPerfect in Explorer, File Types. But from my VB program, with an OLE control, the rtf files open in WordPad. If he opens the file directly from explorer, it opens correctly in WordPerfect. Everything works fine on computers with Word instead of Wordperfect. I'm using vb4, 32-bit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, in advance. Greg greg@monacoassociates.com

Consider trying the WebBrowser control as document container instead of the OLE control. It is much better behaved. Greg wrote in message ... >I have a user on NT4.
