Bernie,
1/ Use Public Properties Declared in the Declarations Part of your form.
e.g.
In the Declarations
Public varVarName as Variant
You can then access these variables by
frmFormName.varVarName
You can use Globals declared in a Module, but this reduces the portability
of your code, and should be avoided if possible.
2/ Use a full qualifier to get to your object on the main form.
i.e. From your options form, Use:
Form1.Winsock1.RemoteHost = "Whatever"
Regards
Molly

>i have just started vb5 i can make programs but i have one problem. how do i >make two of more forms that that i can use there varables one other and how >do i use one object on two or more forms?? >EX> setting the properties of winsock (on the main form) with on a options >form?? > >please post or email me at deforest@mkl.com > >
