We are using api calls to the registry to get the default email program from
hkcr/mailto/shell/open/command.  Works great with Outlook Express!

Problem is that in some installations (e.g., Novell with Groupwise), this
does not work.  The registry entry is missing or is not an executable file.

We need a surefire method to get the default email client path to execute
from our program.  Any suggestions?
