This same project using the VB5 setup wizard installs in 30 seconds. It flys by the files with no problem. Now that Ive moved to Visual Basic 6 the installation goes very slowly. The CAB file that is created is about 10 megs with 100 files in it. Most of them are files that are added to the project manually which are needed. Interestingly it seems to go a little faster once it hits the files that the SETUP actually detected as part of the project. I've looked at the source for the VB6 setup wizard and there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary happening. Does anybody have any info about this?
