Popup menu with Combo Box

I need help figuring out how to make a "right-click" popup menu on a
dropdown list box/combo box.

As you're probably aware, the Dropdown list/combo box component is about the
only one that doesn't have a MouseUp or MouseDown event, which is usually
used to activate the popup menu.

Does anyone know another way to do this? (even with a new component from a
third party)

Thanks for any help!

Hi there !
In VB 5 there is a cool sample to use POPUPMENU :
which i use in a listbox :
the given source is :

Private Sub Form_MouseDown (Button As Integer, Shift As Integer, X As
Single, Y As Single)
	If Button = 2 Then '2=right mouse button :)
		PopupMenu mnuFile
	End If
End Sub

my app which uses this is on www.multimania.com/gedd123 (application to
convert CDA to MP3 :)

I've just browsed trought the WinAPI help file, and it seem to me that there
is no way to pick up a right-click on a combo. - Only left;

WM_LBUTTONDOWN Sets the focus to the combo box and, for drop-down combo
boxes and drop-down lists, can open or close the list. If it opens the list,
the window procedure captures the mouse to enable selection by dragging and
releasing the mouse button.

WM_LBUTTONUP Releases the mouse capture if the mouse opened the list.
