I want to get text from a text box that always changes. I heard subclassing will help, but i don't know how to use it. I also want to know how to bridge the gap between programming using Visual Basic 3 and using API on a program designed for Windows 95 If you can help me with anything plese e-mail me at: dumpbox@yahoo.com thank you

Why don't you just put some code in the change event of the text box to feed you the new text? -- Later, Tony Fountain Digital Horizons, Inc. tonyfo@primenetNoSpam.com tony@dhiwebNoSpam.com anonymous wrote in message <01bd2c7a$21645e20$ce4d1ed1@cyrix-1>... > I want to get text from a text box that always changes. At this time, Win95 still contains a majority of the sixteen bit API functions, for compatibility purposes. If you're using VB3 under Win95 (not recommended, by the way.) then just make sure you call the 16 bit libraries, and not the 32 bit. No matter what anyone says, you'll never be able to explore the full 32-bit functionality of Win95 using VB3. anonymous wrote: > I want to get text from a text box that always changes.
