I would like to know if any of you know how to read the # of frames in a gif
and the play them??? I would appreciate it if you could help me out! I'm
looking more for code to do this not an OCX that all ready does this. I find
code to be more customize able! If I have to mix OCX to do this then that's
fine! Thanks for you help! If you know anything please E-Mail

Here are a few gif sources I have found to have OCX or DLL controls:

Hi,

VB 5.0 supports gif and jpg files.
VB 5.0 doesn't support animated gif files.
If you want to use animated gif files in your programs, you should to use
a external ActiveX control.
