Need self-learning suggestions from c professionals

I'm in the situation of having to learn C after a number of years as a
programmer, then for the last 8 years doing networks (but no programming
other than configuring PCs, and an occasional GWBASIC routine).

Background:
Learned Fortran and Cobol in high school & college.
Data General assembler from 1974-1983.
8080/Z80 assembler and some basic (Altair & Imsai CP/M,
   including writing my own BIOS)
MSDOS basic (still have my copy of MSDOS 1.1 !)
Currently have a 386/40 with msdos 6.22 and Win 3.11
HP 1000 real-time Fortran
Z80 macro assembler and multi-tasking embedded systems
(up to 20,000+ lines in one system)

I have K&R ver 1 and 2, and I was given a copy of Turbo C ver 3,
along with Ivor Horton's "The Beginners Guide to C" and "C, A Reference
Manual" by Samuel Harbison & Guy Steel Jr.

I'd like suggestions as to what books to go out and purchase,
and what other s/w and books to go out and get.

Email responses are preferred - I'm at the tail end of a
limited feed, and the local spool ages rapidly.
Many thanks in advance.

#include <disclaimer.std.h> I have others, but this works the best.
