I am having difficulties with the "fopen" function in MSVC 1.5?. I have
used the following code to write a program to open a file and use the
fseek function to place the file marker, and "fputs" data into the file.
When I run this program against files on a OS/2 HPFS file system it runs
correctly. When I run this program against files on a OS/2 HPFS file
system larger than 200MEG it will not open the file and returns NULL.
Are there some limitations to file sizes on DOS or OS/2 machines
(Memory, or other). Thanks in advance...

Eric

CODE:

 /* Open a file handle. */

   if( (stream  = fopen( argv[1], "rb+" )) == NULL )
      printf( "The file %s was not opened.\n", argv[1] );

   x = atoi(argv[2]);

   result = fseek( stream, x, SEEK_CUR);
