Whitney Winston" <wwinston@athena.mit.edu> Sender: commonloops-request@cis.ohio-state.edu Subject: Deleting an Instance How can I remove an instance? The problem is that I'm creating about 25,000 instances but after about 4000 instances, I run out of memory; however, I don't need more than 1000 at a time. As soon as I finish with the first 1000, I no longer need them and they can be forgotten. How can I get rid of the unnecessary instances after I've used them? Let go of the objects. They should be automatically garbage collected, like anything else. You application must keep a reference to them somewhere..
