Hello CLOS users:

SAVE-OBJECT is a utility for saving LISP objects to files in ASCII representation. Many of you have used this code and provided much helpful feedback on
improving the code. This new version fixes several old bugs and includes supp-
ort for CMU Common Lisp and Austin Kyoto Common Lisp, as well as Symbolics,
Allegro, Mac Common Lisp, and Lucid Common Lisp; both PCL and native CLOS
(when present) are supported. Unfortunately I have only limited access to
MCL, CMU CL, and AKCL platforms for testing, and would especially like to
hear from those who would like to try the code on MCL,CMUCl, and AKCL plat-
forms; however, if you would like this new version of the code for any
platform, please send me an email: your comments are welcome and will help
to build the next version of this utility.

Thank you,
