SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST

Position Description:
The Senior Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for the design and
development of our client�s new Corporate Action system and/or
enhancements to the existing systems; ICAPS/GAMMA and CAIRO. This
resource will work closely with the users in Boston and NJ Corporate
Action departments to ensure that the design and development of the
new or enhanced applications adequately meet the business
requirements.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Actions team:
The team is responsible for the development and support of system
applications for both domestic and foreign corporate action
processing. The current system applications consist of the Global
Action Management and Monitoring application (ICAPS/GAMMA) and the
Corporate Actions Income Receivable On-Line application (CAIRO). These
applications consist of both mainframe batch/on-line processing and
client/serer LAN processing.

Responsibilities Include:
�Design and develop application sofiware to support domestic and
foreign corporate action processing.
�Work closely with the users to understand their business
requirements.
�Create functional business and technical specifications to support
the defined requirements.
�Participate in research and analysis of current processing
environment.
�Develop unit and system test plans.
�Provide production support for the current ICAP S/GAMMA applications.
�Provide guidance and assistance to others in certain areas of
technical expertise.

Requirements:
�Relational Database knowledge(SYBASE, ORACLE or DB/2)
�2 years of Powerbuilder experience
�DB2 or relational database experience
�Strong communication skills
�Strong analytical and design skills
�Ability to work in a team environment
�Client/Server application development
�4 year college degree, Management Information Systems or Computer
Science is preferred
�7+ years of development and maintenance application experience
�2-3 years of corporate actions experience a plus
