The next meeting of the Colorado Eiffel Users Group will take place on
Thursday, April 24th, at 6:30 PM.
Agenda:
Announcement of Sponsorship
Eiffel News
Presentation by Jacob Gore
Presentation by Steve Thompson
I'm pleased to announce that Eiffel Software has offered to sponsor the
CEUG. In addition to sample software and t-shirts, Eiffel Software has
generously donated an LCD projector to our group. This donation is
greatly appreciated! I for one feel its about time we've outgrown
crowding around Steve's laptop to see his demos!
Next, we'll have a quick review of Eiffel news.
The highlight of the evening will be a presentation by Jacob Gore. Jacob
is the author of the excellent book, "Object Structures: Building
Object-Oriented Software Components With Eiffel." Jacob was originally
scheduled to speak in February, but that meeting had to be postponed due
to snowstorm. While it looked bad at the time that particular storm was
a mild flurry compared to what came later.

Steve Thompson has been giving us frequent updates on the CEUG OS
project, as well as presentations of documentation he is putting
together for the project. The first stage of the project is the
development of an Eiffel wrapper for the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL).
For the April meeting Steve plans to demonstrate the video and audio
portions of the SDL.
