I am using MacForth to draw PICTs which I copy to the clipboard, paste in the scrapbook and later copy and paste into MacDraw. I would like to group portions of the pict in Forth, rather than having to do it later manually in MacDraw. Exploring with ResEdit it looks like MacDraw puts short PicComments at the start and end of a group. I tried this (see below) but to no avail. There are many differences between the pict produced by MacForth and the same one after it goes through MacDraw, MacDraw Picts start with 11 01 wehereas MacForth starts with 00 11 02 suggesting they are different types of picts. SooÉ has anyone out there solved this one or know where to point me tnx -dl- HEX A8F2 2W>MT Pic.com ( kind\size\handle -- | kind\0\0 ) Decimal : sPicCom ( kind -- ) 0 0 Pic.com ; : Gron 140 sPicCom ; : Groff 141 sPicCom ; : make.pict ( -- | QD calls ) 3 4 move.to 5 7 draw.to gron 6 7 Move.to 6 8 Draw.to 30 10 Move.to 30 20 Draw.to groff ;
