The difference between the implementation complexity of the PICK word and a general multiwindow facility (especially in the absence of toobox bindings) is staggering... The only reason I use(d) pocketforth is to create a set of operations over matrixes for my precalculus class. While this was easy and quick and while I will continue to monitor this news- group, I'm going back to my C work and play (which includes trying to port a free, portable C/C++/Objective-C compiler to my mac.)
