Is there any fortran compiler for the mac? I need to learn fortran eventually
and I will not have acces to a network by that time and I own a Mac LCII.
Are there any commercial or shareware compilers out there? If so, where?
I do not have an FPU either and I know this has been a problem with other
compilers/interpreters. Thanks.

The best is probably Language Systems Fortran, which runs under the Macintosh Programmer's
Workshop (MPW). LS Fortran together with MPW costs $595 and is available from APDA.
(You can get a free APDA catalog by calling 1-800-282-2732.)

I don't believe that you need an FPU to use LS Fortran.
