I mentioned in a previous message that I'd seen a parser which uses exceptions written in ML i.e. as described in Paulson's book on ML. However, I was sure that the code I saw was dated 1983 and written by Robert Harper. I've checked the ML archive at Edinburgh, but I couldn't find the code, which leads me to think I've got my wires crossed and and thinking of Paulson's code. However I was sure that the code that I saw used "|||" as the alternation symbol unlike Paulson. Does anybody else remember this code? If so, do you know where I can get it from? bevan
