SML/NJ has been up and running on the RS6000 for over 2 months now. The next public/official release to be announced, will contain the port. Some preliminary numbers indicate that a 25MHz, Model 32H, RS6000 with 32 Mbytes of memory is about 33-66% faster than my 40MHz, Sparc II workstation with 64 Mbytes of memory. The announcement of the next release will be posted on this newsgroup.
