Tabs' > spacing is interpretted differently from one editor to the other, > spaces are constant! Here is an example of why I hate tabs... This is the problem. The fact that spaces are constant make it difficult to view at various monitor resolutions and font sizes. I like a really large resolution and small fonts. If someone chose 4 spaces for me, it can be really hard to tell the indents Almost like: if( foo ) something; But if they use tabs, then I can adjust so the indent is more noticeable, and therefore more readable. The argument of tabs vs spaces is like every language vs English. Do you force everyone to learn English, or do you let them read it in their own language? -c
