Hi! From a FileWriter object I try to write some strings to file ending with a new line. Instead of getting a new line I get something like a bold vertical bar? It does not seemes to be any problem if I have started the FileWriter with the 'FileWriter(String fileName)' constructor. I use the 'FileWriter(String fileName, boolean append)' constructor where I have the problem! Is this some known problem and how can I come around it? I have tried both to write the new line as "\n" and '\n' but with the same result. A strange thing is that I had the same problem in another program for first then it suddenly started work, after just trying to alter between "\n" and '\n' several times!?
