Proxy server support in Visibroker

Hi,

I have some doubts regarding proxy server support in Visibroker. please read
the discussion below.

"The Proxy server is on the client security system, Lets say company C (C ===
Client). The Web Server and CORBA server (running on port 80) objects are
behind a Company proxy server, lets say Company S (S === Server). Now when
the client enters the URL (www.companyS.com/proxytext.html), all the files
are dowmloaded from Company S server. Gatekeeper.ior file is also downloaded.
The Client will try to use the Gatekeeper.ior to try and connect to the
server (www.companyS.com) at port 80. However the Client will fail as the
Client has to send the request to the proxy server of Company C, the proxy
server will make the request get the result and send it to the Client.
Visigenic's Cleint ORB should have the intelligence to detect that the
browser has been configured to send the request across a proxy. The ORB
should then retrieve the proxy server address and force the request of the
client to go through the proxy server of Company C to the Web server of
Company A. Also the ORB should have be able to retrieve the proxy server
information from all the browsers inthe world, I have some reservation about
this as I believe that there is no standard interface defined for browsers"

My question is does the 2.5 ORB in Communicator support the above feature. If
not then is this feature supported in the recent releases of Visibroker. From
which version have these release been supported.

Also on which browsers are the above features supported.

please reply ASAP,
TIA,
Vishal
