Hello, We have a Client Server application developed using J++ (6.0) accessing a Sybase DB using JDBC. Though this Application works fine and is being used, we would like to make it a 3-tier Application using CORBA. This is what we want to do as far as possible:- 1). Use JBuilder 3.0 Enterprise as an IDE. 2). Use CORBA and JDK (1.2). 3). May or may not use Swing for the front-end. 4). The application is launched from an applet using IE 4.0 and we want to make it work with Netscape, too. Is it possible to keep the Client(GUI) side in J++ itself, and change the rest of the architecture, or do we have to code the GUI again using Swing. In the prior case, we would still be using J++(WFC) for the GUI, but in the latter we could stick with JBuilder(JFC) entirely. Thanks for any suggestions.
