Can anyone tell me if there is a way to bring up a pop-up message when some clicks on a dead link? And get an automatic e-mail telling me of the dead link? Your help would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Steve -- When repling, remove the X. check out my website: http://members.xoom.com/Rotweiler213/homepg2.htm "... Xenu Link Sleuth is a freeware program which will spider through your web pages, given a starting point, and verify all of the links are avaiable. It will create an output list showing any links it found which returned errors when it checked them. It's not perfect, but it's fast, and it's freeware. http://www.snafu.de/~tilman/xenulink.html --- Stephen Whitis Email replies should go to... scw120198 (at) whitis.com The address in the header is not valid.

Hi, > Can anyone tell me if there is a way to bring up a pop-up message when some > clicks on a dead link? And get an automatic e-mail telling me of the dead > link? Your help would be highly appreciated. not in JavaScript. Maybe in Java, but probably only in CGI (serversided). F'up2 comp.lang.java.programmer, 'cause it seems to be the most helpful NG for this. Btw: Why are you asking in german and danish(!) newsgroups?! Cheatah -- I am a signature-virus. Why not copy me into your sig?
