We need something like an include file in C to define how all of our GUI components look - to make sure all fonts come from a selected set; all controls are a certain height, etc. Does anyone have any experience with something like this ? Also, we'd like to be able to implement this using JBuilder Foundation ...

You can use Java interfaces like C header files. Define all of your constants in one, and then every class that implements that interface will have access to those constants as if they were static constants in the class itself, which means you don't have to qualify them with the interface's name.
