Creating my own toolbar

I am creating my own toolbar with JWindow, but I found that there is no
method to set JWindow to be floatable. Any idea on how to do it?
Also how can i add a title bar to a JWindow without having the maximize [],
minize_, close X buttons

                                    Thanks

Why not look at the source code for JToolBar? See how it is done.

And choose ONE newsgroup for your posts. Your cross-post in essence says you
don't know or care what all these different newsgroups are for.

Hi !

1) JWindow is much like JFrame, it is a top-level Component, so it
can't be considered "floatable".
You'll probably have to use some mouseListener to manage
some "draggable" feature by yourself.

2) The "title bar" you want will be some JPanel of yours, probably
placed at the NORTH location of a BorderLayout (in your toolbar).
