This was indeed a homework assignment.  I don't want to ask here in the
newsgroup for people letting me program homeworks for me, I just wanted to get
some help and comments on my program.  I think I have made it clear that I
actually _did_ search for myself, but becaus i didn't find my mistake and i want
to work more efficiently, i just wanted to ask some comments from
'professionals' ;-)

And indeed, if i were a programmer in a company, i also wouldn't program it
recursively, but that wasn't the assignment :-(

PS: I think my version is correct right now, I also have another recursive
version... they _seem_ to work, but not sure...
