I'm running Jbuilder 2.0 on NT 4.0. I have a .bat file that runs JRE with lots of jarfiles in the classpath. All jars and classes are found in the app and everything works perfectly. However, my network engineer tells me that the at startup, the java client is generating lots of requests for files that don't exist on the server, of the form "\packagename\sub1\sub2\classname.class". All the classes are classes which actually exist in the application, in the jar files. He is concerned about these unncessary requests It almost looks like the java runtime tries to find the class file on the filesystem before looking in the jar files. How can I prevent this??? thx
