Think of it this way: some years back, everyone and their mother wrote code in assembly language... but as higher level languages came along, people started to use those. Only idiots who think they are "hardcore" still program in assembly... but it really doesn't make much sense. Similarly, I predict that in a few years very few people (the "hardcore" ones) will still write HTML code by hand.
