picking objects in 3D applet with mouse

Hi

I would like to use the mouse to double-click on a line object in 3D
applet after which the line lights up with a new colour.

Preferably I would like to do this in a LineStripArray, but only
highlight the line from the LineStripArray that I am actually double
clicking on.

I can't really work out where to start - browsed the web for info but
couldn't find much. Some information about sensors and picking but
nothing specific about the mouse as such.

Here is a challenge!

Anyone able to provide me with a code example? That would be highly
appreciated.

Thanks

Hugo
