Hi,
Please answer to my email as well as the newsgroups.
I am writing some applets which use Swing components and JBCL
components, I am getting security exceptions in Internet explorer 4.0,
com.ms.security....(com.sun.swing...)SecurityException , event queue
access denied
so I entered the security settings in Ie and changed the settings and
got the settings to look like this:
Permission given to unsigned content
Full Permissions
by setting in the Java custom settings in Internet Options
run unsigned content: was (run in sandbox) changed it to :Enable
My QUESTION is:
Is this the same as using a signed applet?
Rephrase: if my applet will be signed in the future, will my debugging
be useful now.
The thing is I still don't have a digital signature but I will, in the
meantime I want to run and debug my applets using the Full Permissions
options, is this the same as using the signed applets option as is?
Please respond, I need an answer as soon as possible, as you know this
problem, can make my applets useless.
Thanks in advance,
Denise
