The 5 steps for learning Java are:
1. Visit http://java.sun.com
You can get a free Java compiler plus a good online tutorial
2. Download the Java Programmers FAQ at http://www.afu.com
This has a "top ten" list of Java questions and lots
of other info and links.
3. Take a look at the JAVA GLOSSARY: http://oberon.ark.com/~roedy
4. Visit a bookstore and find a Java book whose style and
level you like.
(most important)
5. Have fun!
