<<Only time will tell whether MS and Bill Gates will win (again)...>> Ironically what I think might be a good combination is Java on the client and MS iis as the Server because iis has a good API, it can handle database connectivity easily, and NT makes a very good Web/Database Server. Java being intrinsically portable makes a perfect client side tool. Cafe is starting to look pretty good. That scenario would mean people could use VB4 or Delphi or Java or C++ to write the server side, and the client side would just be a browser with a fast Java engine. So it's not a Bill Gates issue, everybody can play. -- Best Regards, ----- Tony Milosz ----- Peakdesign Please reply to: 71431.276@compuserve.com
