The author stated that Postscript is a programming language (which is arguably correct) and HTML is not. To me, a programming language consists of I/O, looping constructs, and decision branching. HTML has somesorta I/O but no looping or decision branching. Thefore, it is not a language. Java is a language and a damn good one, so maybe let's start talkin about it in comp.lang.java :) - Matthew Vandergrift
