John Scott posted a few days ago about starting a Java Users' Group
for the Dallas/Fort Worth. John and I have been working together and
now have scheduled the first meeting and set up an initial Web page
(no Java goodies at the moment, but soon) at
http://www.utdallas.edu/orgs/dfwjava/.

The first meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, Nov. 14th in room
2.504 of the Erik Jonsson Center on the University of Texas at Dallas
campus. Directions are available on the Web Page. This
meeting is open to everyone. The purpose of this meeting will primarily
be to form and organize the group plus informal discussions of Java
may also occur.

If you have any questions, feel free to send them to dfwjava@utdallas.edu.
