Now we have ONE JAVA. But how long? I am sure there will be minor and
major improvements done by different companies, which can lead to
different versions of JAVA.

I am VERY interested in JAVA. But reasons why people are interested in
JAVA may be different. 

BTW. I don't think JAVA will kill C++, but it may kill Smalltalk.
