Job Summary
The Software Engineer provides technical expertise, design, code
development and vision to our new generation of Web-based technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide technological expertise to current and future engineering
projects.   Work with other engineers to develop and deploy new and
innovative web products and services.  Keep up to date with the web
latest development technologies.  Understand the state of Web technology
and keep up-to-date on developments in audio and video delivery
technology.  Work with the engineering group to define requirements and
specifications.


Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial software engineering.

Thorough knowledge of object-oriented design and languages.

Expert-level knowledge of Java including Applets and Servlets.

Expert-level knowledge of C++.

Minimum 2 years experience with HTML and JavaScript for browsers.

Experience with SQL as well as databases.

Experience with Web servers such as Apache, IIS and Netscape.

Experience with one or more of the following Web application
architectures: ASP, ColdFusion, Kiva, or NetDynamics, or some other Web
application server technology.

Ability to set and meet schedules.

Good understanding of Unix, Windows '95 and Windows NT OS.


Ideal

Experience with Audio and Video streaming technologies.
