Some financial websites display quotes of securities in a streaming data format. They mention that they use a lightweight Java applet for that purpose. Does anybody know if such an applet is available as open source code, and if so, where to find it? My purpose is to add it to a website so that it can display data coming from a data feed in a streaming format. Or is such an applet usually used at the source, rather than destination, of data? Do a search for "java + applet + ticker"... This will give you a lot of static tickers, but also a lot of live fed ones... Dag.
