Hello, I have been trying out servlets and I have run into a problem. My servlet is a really simple one extending HttpServlet. I am running on iPlanet. I have setup my classpath correclty (ie iplanet is finding the servlet class). My servlet instantiates another class I wrote (located in the same directory and that I added to the class path). That other class uses JNDI. However, I can never get it to work and I always get the following error : [19/Dec/2000:17:15:58] warning ( 218): Internal error: newInstance failed (servlet class=LDAPServlet): java.lang.IllegalAccessException: LDAPServlet [19/Dec/2000:17:15:58] warning ( 218): Internal error: Failed to get GenericServlet. (uri=/servlet/LDAPServlet,SCRIPT_NAME=/servlet/LDAPServlet) After checking the sun docs I added a public zero-parameter constructor to my other class but that still has not helped. Any ideas ? Philippe
