The neuroscience-based artificial mind in JavaScript "JS-Mind" is being coded as an offshoot from an archival webpage at http://www.geocities.com/mentifex/jscript.html -- JavaScript AI. Although the first code scripts being released into the public domain show more of learning JavaScript than of coding AI, such releases allow interested programmers to step in and do a better job or a different job than, say, today's work at http://www.geocities.com/mentifex/7nov2KB.html client-side arrays. Although most current JavaScript work seems to involve server-side delivery of information to websurfers lingering at a given site, the JS-Mind JavaScript PD AI is different in that it aims to "flit" once across the Internet to a surfer's browser screen and stay there, conversing with the user until he or she loses interest -- at which point the user moves off the AI window and the AI immediately dies.
