Wa-Hey everyone !

We'd like to create a chat channel on our home page, but we haven't
got a clue on how to do it. Does anyone know if javascript might be
able to do the job. We prefer not to use other (commercial) chat
sites; it has to be a script (or HTML) which works from within our
own pages. We're looking for a client side script/solution. Any
suggestions, comments, URLs, etc.. are very welcome.

Thanks in advance for your help . . .

Stay safe, be lucky !

the same material as black boxes.?.?.?.

Don't use client-side scriping to do this. The reasons are explained
in the JavaScript MiniFAQ. Use server-side scripting or Java.

comp.lang.javascript Mini-FAQ at http://www.dannyg.com/ Java is not
JavaScript. Yes, I'm an arrogant, obnoxious bastard but look... :)
I included a smiley face in this post so you can't take me seriously.

You could use the Microsoft Chat Control -- this is an activeX control that
gives you a nice programmatic interface to IRC from the client side.
